 We had the opportunity to collaborate with our University's Career, Co-Op & Student Success Centre to host "LIR Career Night" to discover the various routes our LIR degree can take us! The conversations we had with our guest speakers, Sachi Kikuchi and Dr. Nancy Adossi, were both valuable and insightful for us to see our course theories being put into practice in a professional setting ๐ผ ๐ |  โ๏ธWinter Welcome & Fridge Donations โ๏ธ event happened on Thursday, January 19th from 5 to 8 PM at the Arts Lounge (POD 394). All students enjoyed snacks & refreshments provided by the LIRCU๐ For fridge donations, all attendees were encouraged to bring at least two items* to later be donated to Community Fridges Toronto (Instagram: @cf___to). |  Part II of our Grad Workshop pt. II with Dr. Dana Osborne was joined by a special guest, TMU Professor at the department of Creative Industries, Dr. Lorena Escandรณn! She shared her personal experience pursuing her post-graduate studies in Lunds Universitet (Sweden ๐ธ๐ช)! Her unique perspective helped guide students' journey to grad school from an international perspective ๐ |

 The "LIRCU Chit-Chat: About Grad School with Dr. Dana Osborne." is our first Grad School Workshop of the semester! We were joined by our own LLC Department professor, Dr. Dana Osborne along with recent TMU alumni, Sze Yan! |  French For All x LIRCU's: Paint the World ๐๐จ was a collaboration between the LIR Course Union and French For All to meet fellow students & show off their creativity! ๐ง๐ผโ๐จ |  The LLC department held an event in collaboration with Zygg E-bikes, who offered 4 prizes of a 2-week free subscription to their E-bike rental service ๐ด |
 Thank you to everyone that attended our 1st session of "How RAD is GRAD?" with Dr. Osborne! Keep an eye out for future sessions on our social media pages ๐ |  It was super fun meeting all of familiar and new faces at our Borderless Buddies event! This was such an excellent opportunity to learn more about interculturalism and the intricacies of it when navigating it in your personal, romantic lives.  We put together a panel featuring three professors and a graduating student to speak about their field of work, the concentrations, and anything LIR-program related. Concentrating on Concentrations FAQ is a Q&A styled event that was held live on Monday, November 30th from 6-8pm. Special thanks to Dr. Osborne, Dr. Pelkey, Dr. Zafra and graduating student, Nikita Sankreacha for offering their time to help us out! |  The LIRCU presents its first social night, Game Night at Howlโs! A movie and games night where participants along with the LIRCU team watched Howl's Moving Castle, a favourite of the Studio Ghibli films. The film is produced in Japanese and was viewed with English subtitles. Thank you to everyone that came! |
