We had the opportunity to collaborate with our University's Career, Co-Op & Student Success Centre to host "LIR Career Night" to discover the various routes our LIR degree can take us!
The conversations we had with our guest speakers, Sachi Kikuchi and Dr. Nancy Adossi, were both valuable and insightful for us to see our course theories being put into practice in a professional setting 💼 🌎 | ❄️Winter Welcome & Fridge Donations ❄️ event happened on Thursday, January 19th from 5 to 8 PM at the Arts Lounge (POD 394).
All students enjoyed snacks & refreshments provided by the LIRCU😊
For fridge donations, all attendees were encouraged to bring at least two items* to later be donated to Community Fridges Toronto (Instagram: @cf___to). | Part II of our Grad Workshop pt. II with Dr. Dana Osborne was joined by a special guest, TMU Professor at the department of Creative Industries, Dr. Lorena Escandón! She shared her personal experience pursuing her post-graduate studies in Lunds Universitet (Sweden 🇸🇪)! Her unique perspective helped guide students' journey to grad school from an international perspective 🌍 |
